who would have thought

I came across and article in the August issue of Psychology Today and i have to talk about it. This doctor Peter Brugger has been researching the phenomenon of perception based mostly on delusions and hallucinations. He has spent over 20 years accumulating evidence to show that belief in paranormal activity is a brain function, just like emotion and cognition. No shit.
So this little chemical here called dopamine is to blame, or so they think. Brugger says, "People with too much dopamine literally see things, they have suspicious thoughts. They see too many patterns in what is random."

You see what you see if you let yourself see it. Ghosts may not be ghosts after all. Dopamine influences movement, learning, attention and emotion. So what do you think?
